52 13 040 Removing and installing/replacing outer cover on left or right front seat

Release screw (3).

Unlock tabs (1) downwards with finger from above between seat and trim.

If necessary, raise tab (2) at rear.

Pull cover (4) at top outwards slightly.

Lever out tabs (1) of cover (3) on holder (2).

Lever out cover (1) at rear in direction of arrow.

Detach cover (1) at front from guide and remove.

Lumbar support optional extra:

Disconnect plug connection on actuating unit and remove cover (1).

The following operations are only applicable for:

Electric seat adjustment optional extra.

Installation:

When fitting cover (1), make sure wiring harness (2) is in correct installation position.

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Lever out tabs (2), remove actuating unit (3).

If necessary, disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove actuating unit (2).
