51 16... Removing and installing/replacing center armrest

Remove center armrest sliding unit.

Lever trims (1) out of sliding unit (2).

Installation:

Replace trims (1).

Drive pin (1) with sleeve (2) out of sliding unit (3).

Pull sliding unit (3) apart and release screws (1).

CAUTION: The next work step must be carried out with the assistance of a second person (risk of injury).

The second person must pull the sliding unit (3) apart (spring pressure) until the screws (4) are accessible.

Release screws (4) and remove center armrest (2).

Installation:

Bore holes (1) in center armrest (2) must not be damaged.
