66 54 005 Removing and installing control unit for night vision system

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead, refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove safety information module, refer to 65 77 700 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) SAFETY INFORMATION MODULE .

Disconnect plug connection (1), press lug (2) downwards and remove control unit (3) from module carrier.
