65 77 760 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Rear Seat Sensor

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead and cover. Refer to 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
Remove rear seat (normal). Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (NORMAL) .
Remove center seat section (comfort seat). Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (NORMAL)

Release screws (1).

Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 65 77 8AZ in AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND ANTI-THEFT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Make sure sensor is mounted without play.

Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.

Remove rear seat sensor (3).

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Observe following IDC specifications:

Programming.
Coding.
Car & Key Memory.
CD "CIP".
