65 24 020 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Blocking Circuit

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove trim on C-pillar at bottom right. Refer to 51 43 230 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM LEFT OR RIGHT and/or 51 43 245 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM (WITH ELECTRIC REAR SEAT ADJUSTMENT) ON LEFT OR RIGHT .

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the illustration shows the panel for the rear parcel shelf removed. Disconnect plug connections (1). Release screw (2) and remove blocking circuit (3) in direction of arrow from rear window antenna amplifier.

Installation:

Make sure guide pin (1) of blocking circuit (2) is correctly seated in bore in rear window antenna amplifier.
