65 20 200 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Antenna Tuner

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead. Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
Remove rear left head restraint. Refer to 52 24 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT (NORMAL) .
Remove panel for roof pillar at rear left. Refer to 51 43 255 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR LEFT OR RIGHT ROOF PILLAR (FRONT) .

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, the following illustrations show the panel for the rear parcel shelf removed.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Loosen screws (2).

Feed antenna tuner (3) in direction of arrow out of guides (4) and remove.

Installation:

Make sure antenna tuner is correctly seated in inner guide (1) in each case.

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .

Observe following IDC specifications:

Programming.
Coding.
Car & Key Memory.
CD "CIP".
