52 25 059 Removing And Installing/Replacing Valve Housing For Lumbar Cushion

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear seat. Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (NORMAL) .

Release screw (1).

Installation:

Install valve housing (2):

Left seat - outer retaining point.
Right seat - inner retaining point.

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Disconnect air hoses (4) and (5) from valve housing.

NOTE: Heat air hoses gently if they are firmly seated on valve housing. Housing of valve block must not be unclipped (leakage). If necessary, release mounting and clip housing together.

Installation:

Make sure air hoses (5) are correctly connected to valve block (color coding).

Air hoses must be laid without kinks.

Install valve housing (2).
