52 24 015 Removing And Installing/Replacing Backrest For Left Or Right Rear Seat (Normal)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear seat. Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (NORMAL) .

Release screws (1).

Lever out backrest (2) at bottom and slide upwards out of guide.

Feed backrest (2) out of belt straps and remove.

Rear Seat With Seat Heater:

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Remove clip (2) and remove control unit (3).

Installation:

First engage backrest in guides (1).
