52 17 023 Removing And Installing/Replacing Adjusting Unit For Thigh Support On Left Or Right Front Seat

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove front seat. Refer to 52 14 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) .
Remove thigh support. Refer to 52 17 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT THIGH SUPPORT .

Move front thigh support forwards as far as possible.

Release screws (1).

Detach compressor (2) complete with holder (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Attach holder (3) in area (5).

Disconnect plug connection (4) on drive.

Release screws in areas (1).

Feed out adjusting unit (2) complete with drive in direction of arrow and remove.
