51 34 420 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim On Window Frame Of Rear Door (Front), Left Or Right

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove rear window cavity cover strip. Refer to 51 22 302 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CHROME STRIP FOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP, REAR LEFT OR RIGHT .

Partially detach rubber seal (1) and rubber guide (2).

Release screws (1).

Detach trim (2) towards front/top.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty plastic nuts (1).

Installation:

Sound insulation (1) on window frame (2) must be fitted.
