51 16 045 Removing And Installing/Replacing Retaining Ring On Left Or Right Door Mirror

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove housing (cover) on door mirror. Refer to 51 16 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING HOUSING (COVER) ON LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR MIRROR .

Release screws (1).

Remove retaining ring (2).

Installation:

Guide (1) on retaining ring (2) must not be damaged.
