12 14 513 Replacing Pulse Generator On Right Exhaust Camshaft (N73)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

(Cylinder bank 1 to 6)
Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
Remove center equipment bulkhead. Refer to 51 71 085 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER OF ASSEMBLY COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD .

Unlock and detach plug connection (1).

Unscrew screw.

Remove pulse generator (2).

Installation:

Replace sealing ring and coat with anti-friction rubber coating.
