11 37 700 Replacing Control Unit (Valvetronic)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Read fault memory.
Remove right fresh air duct. Refer to 64 31 056 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT FRESH-AIR DUCT (AUTOMATIC A/C HIGH) .

IMPORTANT: Follow instructions for removing and installing electronic control units.

Remove holder (1).

Remove cover (2).

NOTE: Remove holder (3). Only necessary when removing wiring harness.

Disconnect plug connection on Valvetronic control unit (1).

Remove Valvetronic control unit (2).

Add final details to vehicle.

Check function of DME.
