11 12 719 Resurfacing Cylinder Head Sealing Face (N73)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove cylinder head. Refer to 11 12 105 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT CYLINDER HEAD (N73) .
Remove inlet and exhaust camshafts. Refer to 11 31 032 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT INLET CAMSHAFT (N73) .

Check evenness of cylinder head sealing face with a standard straight-edge (1).

NOTE: Max. deviation from level (longitudinal) 0.10 mm.

NOTE: A 0.3 mm thick cylinder head gasket is available for machined (milled) cylinder heads.

Assemble engine.
