00 00 ... Diagnostic Brief Test

- Connect BMW diagnosis system (DIS) to diagnosis socket or OBD socket.
- Switch ignition on.
- Carry out vehicle identification.
- Start brief test.
NOTE:
For diagnostics, the brief test is essential for evaluating possible stored diagnostic trouble codes. In the brief test, the control units are physically identified in succession and their fault memories read out. Check identified faults and if necessary rectify these faults after consulting with customer.
