61 35 900 Removing and installing/replacing ring antenna of electronic immobilizer

Remove instrument panelling at bottom left.

Release screws.

Unscrew screw.

Pull panelling to side out of clips.

Pull front end of panelling in downward direction and remove.

Unscrew screw.

Pull lower section of steering-column casing off upper section.

Installation:

Check for correct position of lock.

Slide in special tool 61 3 300 with flattened end (A) facing ring antenna and lever out ring antenna.

Cut open cable connector and remove ring antenna.
