61 12 525 Replacing both rear impulse sensors for ABS

NOTE: Remove rear wheel, refer to 36 10 300 REMOVING OR INSTALLING FRONT OR REAR WHEEL .

Open protective box for ABS sensor.

Procedures for rear-left sensor are analogous to those for rear-right sensor.

Lift out plug-in connection.

Disconnect connector.

Unscrew hexagon screw.

Lift out sensor.

Installation:

Clean and lubricate dowel-pin bore with Staborax NBU 12/k, refer to BMW Parts Service.
