11 23 010 Removing and installing/replacing vibration damper (N62)

Remove alternator drive belt. See GENERATOR DRIVE BELT 4.4L (N62) .

Remove A/C compressor drive belt. See A/C COMPRESSOR DRIVE BELT 4.4L (N62) .

Remove fan cowl.

Release screws and remove vibration damper (1).

Installation:

Vibration damper is secured on hub with an alignment pin (4).

Installation:

Fit bore (2) in vibration damper (1) on alignment pin in hub.

Fit washer (3).

Replace screws.

Tightening torque, see ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
