61 31 233 Removing and installing/replacing Lane Departure Warning motor electronics (sport steering wheel)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove decorative bar from steering wheel .
Release screws (1) and remove retaining plate (2). Tightening torque, see 32 33 2AZ in 32 33 STEERING WHEEL .
Disconnect plug connection (1). Release screw (2). Release screws (3) and remove motor electronics (4) complete with electrical wires. Installation: Replace screws (2 and 3). (2) Tightening torque, see 32 33 3AZ in 32 33 STEERING WHEEL , (3) Tightening torque, see 32 33 4AZ in 32 33 STEERING WHEEL . Ensure correct cable routing.
