54 10 155 Removing and installing/replacing rear floating roofliner

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: Make sure that grease on the rails does not come into contact with the floating roofliner.

Move rear floating roofliner (1) towards front (close).

Loosen screws (2).

Tightening torque, refer to 54 10 7AZ in SLIDE/TILT ROOF AND CONVERTIBLE TOP - TIGHTENING TORQUES - E63 .

Slide roofliner (1) uniformly towards front.

If necessary, raise slider (2) for front and rear floating roofliners.

Move slider (2) back until there is no longer any contact with the roofliner (1).
