37 14 055 Removing and installing / replacing DYNAMIC DRIVE control unit

After installation:

Replacement only: Carry out coding
Replacement/coding only: Carry out steering angle sensor adjustment/adjustment for active front steering
Carry out initial DYNAMIC DRIVE operation, refer to 37 10 001 INITIAL OPERATION WITH TEST RUN OF DYNAMIC DRIVE .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead
Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom left
Remove side trim in front right footwell

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Release nut (2) and nut (concealed) above control unit.

Tightening torque 2.5 N.m.

Pull out Dynamic Drive control unit towards bottom.
