61 71 100 Removing and installing/replacing windshield washer pump

NOTE: Before replacing the windscreen washer pump, check the fluid reservoir for dirt contamination and clean if necessary!

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows front wheel removed.

Release screws.

Fold back wheel arch trim (1) in direction of arrow.

NOTE: Catch any escaping washer fluid if necessary.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Detach hose (2) from windscreen washer pump (3).

Pull windscreen washer pump (3) in direction of arrow out of fluid reservoir for windscreen washer unit (4).
