13 54 250 Removing and installing/replacing intake hose (M54)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove suction filter housing.

Release lock (1) and detach from intake hose (5).

Release screw (3) and place suction jet pump (2) to one side.

Loosen hose clamps (4).

Detach intake hose (5) from throttle assembly and idle speed control valve and remove upwards.

Assemble engine.

Check intake manifold for leaks.

Check function of DME.
