84 21 548 Removing and installing (replacing) hands-free charging electronics (High)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
If necessary, remove amplifier . See 65 12 072 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) AMPLIFIER (TOP HIFI SYSTEM) or 65 12 071 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AMPLIFIER (HIFI SYSTEM) .
If necessary, remove TELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release all nuts.

Remove hands-free charging electronics (2) from bracket (3).

Installation:

Make sure wiring harness is correctly laid.

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
If necessary, log mobile phone on to vehicle.
