33 32 155 Removing and installing/replacing rear compression strut

NOTE: The rear compression strut will be discontinued as of production date 03/2013.
IMPORTANT: Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for raising the vehicle
Driving without compression struts is not permitted!

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 33 33 3AZ .

Release screw (3) and remove compression strut (2).

Secure rear axle support by inserting screw (3).

Installation note: 

Check threads for damage; if necessary, repair with HELICOIL THREAD INSERTS .

Tightening torque 33 33 1AZ .
