Necessary preliminary tasks

Disengage cable guides (2).

Open connector housing (1), pull plug connection out of holder and disconnect.

Pull cable with rubber grommet out of holders (3).

Installation: 

Ensure proper locking of plug connector and proper seating of rubber grommets.

Disengage cable guides (1).

Release Torx socket screw (2) and pull pulse sensor (3) out of bore.

Installation: 

Tightening torque 31 51 3AZ .

Clean bore for pulse sensor and lubricate with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease.

IMPORTANT: Check sensor head prior to installation for external damage, replacing if necessary.
