64 12 300 Removing and installing/replacing complete electric auxiliary heater - 3rd seat row -

Necessary preliminary tasks

Remove A/C CONTROL UNIT - 3RD SEAT ROW
Remove CENTRE CONSOLE - 3RD SEAT ROW

The following operations are shown with the 3rd seat row removed.

Detach Starlock washer (1) from holding rod (2).

Installation:

If necessary, replace defective Starlock washer (1).

Make sure Starlock washer (1) is correctly seated on holding rod (2).

Slide holding rod (1) in direction of arrow out of guides and tilt seat cushion (2) forwards.

Release screw (1).

Release screw (1) and remove heater (2).
