13 62 591 Removing and installing/replacing pressure sensor on left charge air cooler (S63)

Necessary preliminary tasks

Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
Turn off ignition.
Remove INTAKE FILTER HOUSING .

Unclip Bowden cable for engine bonnet/hood actuator from transverse reinforcement (1).

Detach A/C line from holder.

Release screws on left and right.

Tightening torque 51 71 4AZ .

Remove cross-brace (1).

Installation:

Reinstall left and right holders for intake silencer housing.

Unlock plug (1) and remove.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 7AZ .

Pull pressure sensor (3) out of left charge air cooler.

Installation:

Replace sealing ring on pressure sensor.

Installation:

Delete fault memory.
