65 75 071 Removing and installing (replacing) module for passenger compartment sensor

Special Tools Required: 

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection). Refer to 61 35 ... NOTES ON ESD PROTECTION (ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE) .

Lever out trim (1) in area (2) with special tool 00 9 341 and remove from moulded rooflining (3).

Unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.

Open retaining lugs (1) in direction of arrow and remove module for passenger compartment sensor (2) from trim (3).

Installation: 

Retaining hooks in area (4) must not be damaged.

Replacement: 

Carry out programming/coding. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .
