64 12 525 Replacing complete independent heater

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove complete independent heater. Refer to 64 12 021 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INDEPENDENT/AUXILIARY HEATER .

Detach cable strap (1).

Release spring clip (2).

Detach air intake hose (3).

Loosen screws (4).

Remove holder for independent heater (5).

Unlock cover (1) and remove in direction of arrow.

Unlock and disconnect plug connection for auxiliary water pump.

Feed cable out of guide.

Release spring clip (1).

Detach coolant hose (2) together with auxiliary water pump (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Carry out programming/coding. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .
