52 24 037 Removing and installing/replacing seat frame

Special Tools Required:
- 00 9 317
Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Remove rear seat. Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING REAR SEAT .
Removing seat frame:
- Feed cover welt (1) all round with special tool 00 9 317 out of retaining lugs (partly marked through recesses).
- Detach cover lugs in areas (2) from locking pins.
- Carefully pull cover back to top side and pull Velcro-type fastener off frame.
- Remove seat frame.
Installation:
- Align and press on Velcro-type fastener.
- Lay cable in opening of padding and through bore in frame.
- Feed welt back in with special tool 00 9 317.
