52 24 010 Removing and installing/replacing backrest for rear seat (basic)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Remove rear seat. Refer to 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING REAR SEAT .
- Remove middle seat belt.
- Open lock on rear seat back (emergency actuator). Refer to 52 26 ... EMERGENCY ACTUATOR FOR REAR SEAT BACKREST .
Release screws (1).
Feed backrest out of belts and lift out towards front.
Installation:
Pay attention to precise guidance (2).
Tightening torque, refer to 52 24 1AZ in SEATS - TIGHTENING TORQUES - 545I (4.4L) E60/N62 .
