41 00... Handling Airbags And Restraint Systems

  1. 1.0 Airbags and restraint systems 
    • On vehicles with airbags and restraint systems, observe the relevant SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS .
    • During straightening work on the body, you will be exposed to the risk of accidental airbag triggering when the battery is connected.

      Because of this risk the battery negative lead must be DISCONNECTED prior to all repair work on the body.
