64 11 970 Replacing fogging sensor (up to 10/2008)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR, see 51 16 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR (OVERVIEW) .

Unclip fogging sensor (1) from retaining tabs (2).

Disconnect plug connection (3).

Installation:

Make sure fogging sensor (1) is securely seated.

Installation:

Sensor surface (1) must be clean and free from grease.
