63 31 003 Removing and installing/replacing complete ceiling light (rear)

Special tools required:

00 9 317 , see 00 9 317 TRIM PANEL WEDGE .

IMPORTANT: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (interior lights , see 63 99... Instructions for replacing light bulbs (interior lights) ).

IMPORTANT: Ceiling light (2) and roofliner (3) must not be damaged.

Carefully release retaining clips (1) with special tool 00 9 317 and lever ceiling light (2) in direction of arrow out of roofliner (3).

Disconnect associated plug connection and remove roof light (2).

Installation:

Retaining clips (1) and guides (4) must not be damaged or missing.

Replacement:

If necessary, remove bulbs , see 63 99 432 Replacing light bulb(s) for ceiling light (rear) .
