00 11... Checking/topping up oil level in rear differential (Dynamic Performance Control)

NOTE:
The rear differential has three oil chambers. The outer chambers (1, 3) contain the oil "SAF carbon mod", but with different filling capacities. The middle chamber (2) contains the "SAF XO Burmah Castrol" oil (refer to REAR AXLE - OPERATING FLUIDS
). The oils will mix if the rear differential is subject to a change in position in excess of 45°.
WARNING:
Risk of burning if exhaust system is touched!
DANGER OF POISONING if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
RISK OF INJURY if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
Place oil collecting apparatus underneath.
Open oil drain plugs (1).
Drain and dispose of rear axle final drive oils.
Replace oil drain plugs (1).
Tightening torque 33 11 3AZ .
Open oil filler plugs (1).
Check oil level in outer chambers; if necessary, top up "SAF carbon mod" up to lower edge of opening for oil filler plug (1).
Undo oil filler plug (2).
Check oil level in middle chamber; if necessary, top up "SAF XO Burmah Castrol" up to lower edge of opening for oil filler plug (2).
Replace oil filler plugs (1, 2).
Tightening torque 33 11 3AZ .
