After replacing the valve block, Dynamic Drive expandable hose or hydraulic pump, it is essential to perform the following operations to avoid fouling/contamination in the hydraulic system:
After replacing the valve block, Dynamic Drive expandable hose or hydraulic pump, it is essential to perform the following operations to avoid fouling/contamination in the hydraulic system:
- Disconnect wiring harness from valve block (valves must be inactive)
- Fill hydraulic system (if necessary)
- Start engine and run for 5 minutes; turn the steering wheel from lock to lock repeatedly during this period
- Engine off
- Ignition ON
- Reconnect valve block wiring harness
- Perform start-up
NOTE:
The Service function start-up of Dynamic Drive must be carried out after:
- Work on the Dynamic Drive system which involved opening hydraulic lines
- Replacement / programming / encoding of Dynamic Drive control unit
- Replacement of lateral acceleration sensor
- Learning parameters and zero point of new sensors
