63 99 201 Replacing Halogen Bulb For Left Or Right Front Fog Lamp

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Partially remove front wheel arch cover . Refer to 51 71 038 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER (FRONT SECTION) (Coupe) and/or 51 71 038 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER (FRONT SECTION) (Convertible).

NOTE: Operation is shown by way of example on the E87 (build date before 03/2007). There may be differences in detail in the case of other vehicle models.

Front wheel arch cover shown removed for purposes of clarity.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Turn halogen bulb for fog lamp (2) in direction of arrow and remove from fog lamp (3).

Installation:

Note type of bulb . See 63 31... Overview Of Interior Lights .

Make sure halogen bulb for fog lamp (2) is correctly seated and engaged in fog lamp (3).
