54 34 341 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Middle Roof Frame Seal

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open Convertible top partially until work area is accessible

WARNING:

Soft top becomes pressureless without a warning signal.

For all work, secure soft top with a suitable support tool against collapsing.

Ensure Convertible top is supported in the middle.

Ignition must remain switched off during the repair work.

Failure to comply with this instruction may result in the hydraulic valves incurring preliminary damage.

Pope window guide (1) out of seal carrier (roof frame middle).

Installation:

Make sure seal (2) is correctly seated on seal carrier (1).

Installation:

Window guide must be flush with front and rear window guides.

Side windows must run into window guide correctly and rest in window guide over entire width.

Check function.

Check adjustment of side windows and adjust if necessary. Refer to 51 37 154 ADJUSTING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE WINDOW .
