52 24 475 Replacing Left Or Right Guide Sleeves

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove head restraints . Refer to 52 24 390 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Left Or Right Rear Head Restraint .

IMPORTANT:

Risk of damage!

Do not remove trim (1) from guide sleeves.

Remove left and right guide sleeves complete with trims only.

Unlock left and right guide sleeves in succession.

Using two screwdrivers, pull retaining lugs back and pull out respective guide sleeve towards top a little.

Unlock second guide sleeve and simultaneously remove both guide sleeves with trim towards top.
