51 16 341 Removing And Installing/Replacing Lock Cylinder For Glovebox

Special Tools Required 

IMPORTANT:

Risk of damage!

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Lift handle (1) on glovebox cover.

Engage special tool 00 9 321  under handle (1) in middle on lock cylinder (2).

Press lock cylinder (2) outwards and release from catches.

Pull lock cylinder (2) with ignition key (3) out of guide.

Installation: 

Locking rib (1) and lugs (2) must not be damaged.
