51 37 265 Removing And Installing/Replacing Window Cavity Cover Strip For Door Window, Rear Left Or Right

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Release rear side trim panel upper section and place to one side
NOTE:
Before removing window cavity cover strip, make not of exact installation position with respect to adjoining components.
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
If reusing the existing window cavity cover strip (3), make sure it is not bent.
Release side trim panel lower section (1) at top in area of B-pillar and pull inwards.
Release catch (2) and, starting at front, pull off window cavity cover strip (3) towards top.
Installation:
Moisten window cavity cover strip (3) prior to fitting with approved anti-friction agent .
Make sure window cavity cover strip (3) is correctly seated.
Installation:
Catch (1) must not be damaged.
