Special Tools Required

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: Prior to removing, pay attention to the exact installation position with respect to the adjoining components.
IMPORTANT:

Risk of damage!

The weatherstrip (4) can bend when lifted out too far.

Attach adhesive tape under window cavity cover strip (4) (damage to paintwork).

Detach seal (1) at retaining elements (2) and shaped part (3) from side panel.

Using special tool 00 9 311  beginning at rear, carefully lever out window cavity cover strip (4).

Installation: 

Ensure seal (1) is correctly seated.

Retaining elements (2) and shaped part (3) must not be damaged.

If necessary, moisten window cavity cover strip (4) prior to fitting with approved anti-friction agent  .
