Installation:

The tightening torque to be set 51 37 2AZ in 51 37 SIDE WINDOWS, ELECTR. ACTUATED (MDE) is reduced when special tool 51 3 240  is used. Depending on the torque wrench used, this must be calculated according to the adjacent equation:

MDE Torque to be set

=

MDV Prescribed torque (without special tool)

=

lj = Standard adjustment length with adjusting tool

l1 = Effective length of torque wrench

l2 = Inside dimension of adjusting tool

lw = Inside dimension of insertion tool (here lw = 246 mm+l2)

Installation:

If screwing is performed from the inside of the door (removed door trim panel), the tightening torque to be set 51 37 2AZ in 51 37 SIDE WINDOWS, ELECTR. ACTUATED (without special tool) must be observed.
