Special tools required: 

• 36 1 030

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Check wheel bearings

Lift vehicle.

Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 for lateral runout. Refer to technical data for ONE-PART ALLOY WHEELS , TWO-PART ALLOY WHEELS , or STEEL AND ALUMINUM STRIP WHEELS .

Check wheel with special tool 36 1 030 for radial runout. Refer to technical data for ONE-PART ALLOY WHEELS , TWO-PART ALLOY WHEELS , or STEEL AND ALUMINUM STRIP WHEELS .

If applicable, remove balance weights.
