36 11 105 Removing and installing (replacing) RDC control unit

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove right luggage compartment trim panel. See TRIM PANEL (CONVERTIBLE) or TRIM PANEL (COUPE) .
Disconnect negative battery cable. See REPLACING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Pull out control unit (2) towards top.
