17 11 000 Removing and installing radiator (N53, N54)

WARNING: Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
IMPORTANT: Wear protective goggles and gloves.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

N54 only:

Release clamp, detach charge-air duct (1) and remove.

Tightening torque 13 71 6AZ, see 13 71 AIR INTAKE SILENCER

Automatic only: 

Release bolt and detach hose (1).

Automatic only: 

Release bolt (1) and detach hose (2).

Release screws.

Tightening torque 17 11 2AZ, see ENGINE RADIATOR .

Carefully feed out radiator (1) towards top and remove.
