65 12 072 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Amplifier (Top Hi-Fi System)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD (Coupe).
Remove rear left side trim panel . Refer to 51 43 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE TRIM PANEL in (Coupe) only.

Release screws (1) and remove retaining plate (2).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Detach retaining plates (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure retaining plates (2) and grommet (3) are correctly seated.

Replacement:

Carry out programming/coding for BMW/MINI service functions in Progman.
