65 11 070 Removing and Installing/Replacing CD Changer

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD (Coupe).
Remove luggage compartment trim on left. Refer to 51 47 151 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM (Coupe).

NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibers. See 61 00... NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS (Coupe).

Release screws (1).

Pull CD changer (2) forward and unlock and disconnect plug connections.

Remove CD changer (2) complete with holder.

Replacement:

Release screws (1) and remove holder (3) from CD changer (2).
