51 16 Removing And Installing/Replacing Protective Cap On Mirror Base

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove exterior mirror on front door. See 51 16 000 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Mirror On Left Or Right Front Door .
Pull the protective cap (1) off the mirror base (2) toward the inside. Installation note: Fit protective cap (1) flush with mirror base edge.
